Do I pay commission?
No. StoreHatch takes no commission on your sales. The payment provider (Paystack) charges a small payment fee, which comes out of your share.
What does it cost?
It is free for founding sellers right now. We will tell you at least 30 days before any charge starts.
How do I get paid?
Your share of each payment goes to the bank account you set up. StoreHatch never asks for your bank login, PIN, OTP or BVN.
What if a buyer complains?
The complaint comes to you first, and you have 72 hours to answer. If it is not settled, StoreHatch decides. If a refund is due, we pay it and recover it from your later sales.
Can I sell food and take pre-orders?
Yes. Food shops can accept pre-orders: the buyer asks for a time, you approve it, and the buyer pays before you cook.
Can I offer sizes and colours?
Yes. Each option can have its own price, photo and stock.
When is a delivery counted as done?
When the buyer confirms it. If the buyer says nothing and has no open complaint, it is closed automatically after 7 days.
